Acrocorinth is the rocky outcrop that towers above ancient Corinth and used to serve as its acropolis. See the ruins of ancient Greek temples, Byzantine churches and Turkish mosques.

The amazing Corinth Canal connects the Aegean and the Ionian Seas, the emperor Nero actually struck the first blow in 67ad. The project, was only completed in the 19th Century. Cut through solid rock, the canal is 23 m wide and 6 kms long. It is possible to sail through the canal and back again on the boat, Canal Vista, taking approximately 1 hr 15 mins.
